And the journey begins!
Buon giorno Roma!
After a long day of traveling and a 9-hour flight, we have finally arrived in the beautiful city of Rome. My mom and I came off the plane, went through customs then went to retrieve our bags. Before we left for Rome, the pilot told us that 2 bags didn’t make it on the plane. Naturally, my bag was one of the 2 that didn’t make it on the plane. Something always has to go wrong, but what do I care? I’m in Italy and I’m the happiest girl in the world. I’ll fine my suitcase eventually I guess?
Anyways, after I lost my bag my mom and I went to the café and enjoyed a cappuccino and a cornetto while waiting for my brother and dad to arrive in Rome.
The next step: fitting 5 large duffle bags into a tiny FIAT Panda car. I’m definitely in Italy…
