A new life in Rome
And just like that, I’m all moved into my apartment in Rome. Its crazy to think that I’ve been planning this trip since last October and now I’m finally moving in and starting a life here.
As far as the apartment goes, it is exactly what I pictured it to be. Standard Italian little apartment. A tiny 4×4 kitchen, one bathroom, a little common room and two bedrooms. In each bedroom there are two small twin beds and literally two tiny dressers. My roomate and I are currently dying trying to fit all the clothes we packed for 4 months in the tiniest little dresser, but we’re in Italy so I guess I can’t complain..
Our neighborhood is in Trastevere and it is absolutely beautiful. Cobblestone streets, open air markets and tons of amazing restaurants and night life. It reminds me of the village in New York City but it is definitely nicer.
